So i wrote this silly poem today:
Do you think the clouds have faces?
Shaped like memories and roadsides you once walked by
They would then look down on these places
And wash the pain with water from the sky
Do you think you have won this skirmish?
The sun shone off your guile and caught my eye
I knew the shame in this summer would never finish
How when i would wake you, you'd start to cry
The counting backwards from 10 to one
The odds were stuck in our sides like a radio song
The chords of which are played for fun
But words of which like knives twist on and on
ANYWHO: The pin'ata of love overflows today. the goodie bag is bursting open. The num-nums have landed. You're ungrateful but i need you so i'll love you and i'll feed you. (Ramble sarcasm humor intended)
I have spent 2 years searching for this album (as a free ingratitude mp3 down of course). As an angst(pseudo) filled 18 year old I lufffffffed Tracy Bonham's The Burdens of Being Upright - I thought it was smashingly good. This third offering weds her velvety voice tone with beautiful acoustic melodies and lush orchestrations. Hubba hubba.
Blink the Brightest is the third album by American singer/songwriter Tracy Bonham. It was released on June 21, 2005.

The second offering holds the REM cover song Wall of Death which was one of the first songs I discovered the magic of harmonies and acuestick bliss (used to play it in 1997-1999 with Omer Waziri who incidentally moved to Australia and lost COMPLETE touch - if you read this Omer Waziri: GET THE F**K IN TOUCH).
